Practice Makes Perfect

How does it work?

single donation.

You choose to which scholarship you wish to donate.

Donate as much as you choose one time. Your donation will be entrusted by The Foundation of Lee County Schools so you know 100% of it will go into the scholarship fund.

All donations of $100 or more will be recognized on the website. If you prefer to donate anonymously, you may do so.

Monthly Donations.

Think about it. What can you afford to budget on a monthly basis that would make a difference in a students life? Whether it’s $10 or $1,000, you would be helping a student achieve their dreams, all the while, keeping them local. It’s easy to get started, just click the button below.

sponsorships

If your business wants to be recognized for playing a larger role with ANY of the scholarships, a sponsorship could be what you  want. As a sponsor, your business logo will appear on the videos, website and all marketing materials. You would also be invited to be a judge!

12 Notes Scholarship

12 notes and the octave repeats.

It’s the same story, told over and over, each artist interpreting those 12 notes to tell their version of the story.

Who qualifies?

Lee County School Music students can qualify for this scholarship. The student must be planning on attending a local university, either FGCU or FSW and the Major would be Music, either Performance or Teaching.

The Performance.

Each student will perform in front of a panel of judges and a live audience. They will be judged on not only the complexity of the music, but stage presence as well.

The Essay.

Each student will write a 750 word essay on ‘why’ they deserve the scholarship and whether they are a Music Performance Major or Music Teaching Major. They should go into some detail about their talents, dreams and goals.

Mrs. Moore's Chess Fund

Education was her passion. Chess Club was the vehicle she used for rewarding her students in math. It was by invitation only and her students worked hard to receive that invitation. She understood Chess wired kid’s brains into being problem solvers and it was her desire to see it spread throughout the community. We are honoring her legacy as a gifted Teacher by starting Mrs. Moore’s Chess Club Foundation, which will help schools receive funding to open their own Chess Club.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for your love and support.
